Keynote speaker Michael Bastine gives the opening blessing on Friday Evening and presents his talk "Places of Power" during Saturday evening's banquet at the Old Orchard Inn. More details to come.

The tentative schedule is:

THURSDAY EVENING - 7 PM "May Eve with The Little People," the kickoff event of the weekend. Celtic tales of magic and enchantment with Mason Winfield.
FRIDAY EVENING - 6 PM social hour, 7 PM Opening ceremonies, "Artwalk in East Aurora,"  several talks. Plus 9 PM Ghost Walk of East Aurora
SATURDAY MORNING - Talks, committee meetings, psychic readings.
BREAK - Site-celebration, outdoors
SATURDAY AFTERNOON - Talks, committee meetings, psychic readings.
SATURDAY EVENING - Banquet (The Old Orchard Inn), Michael Bastine's address, plus "ghost walk" of the Orchard and its grounds.

Sig's precise talk-title is not set at the moment, but his return visit to East Aurora is confirmed and widely anticipated.

The Glastonbury, UK, resident Sig Lonegren is one of the leading teachers of today's "earth mysteries" school of understanding. GHOSTS, LEYS & SACRED SITES: Mason Winfield's Lily Dale Talk on the Supernaturalism of Landscape

The classical world used to believe that there were two kinds of sacred places: ones that people had consecrated through their architecture and devotion, and ones that the gods had already sanctified through their sublime natural works: fountains, falls, fault lines, and other fey places. The most powerful, of course, are ones that are both: human-made temples sited at places of natural power. Many of them are still famous.

If there is one thing we can consistently observe across the spectrum, it is that these natural-supernatural sites have a high tendency to become EHE-zones, places of "Exceptional Human Experience." They get a lot of paranormal report and folklore.

Make a pilgrimage of your own this summer to an EHE-community, the Lily Dale assembly, and join Mason for his popular, unique talk. We must not have done our medicine right last year at this time, so it's time to crank the juju up again. Join Mason Winfield and many members of Spirit Way Project at the glorious and haunted Town Ballroom on Friday, January 23, 2009. The evening starts off with the Ceremonial Ghost Toast at around 7:30. Then a variety of mystics and luminaries will take a shot at dispelling the curse. Maybe with a bit of group consciousness and collective mojo we can turn this thing around!
